| Suzanne Kosmalski is an artist working in photography, video, works on paper, and multimedia installation. Born in Saint Paul and she currently lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She has had wide experience in the arts working with Artpaper, Minneapolis, as an installation curator for Intermedia Arts, a special projects manager at the Walker Art Center and currently adjunct professor of art at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and the College of Visual Arts, Saint Paul.
Her art work is included in public collections of the Walker Art Center, Chambers Art Hotel, Minneapolis and AFL-CIO, Los Angeles. She lived and worked in San Antonio from 2004-2005 as artist in residence at the University of Texas, and the Majestic Ranch, Boerne, Texas, in New York City and San Francisco.
While living in San Francisco she attended film screenings as unregistered student at the San Francisco Art Institute and became familiar with the work of independent filmmakers including Costas Gravas. Her interest in film became more critical after these screenings. |
